Dear all,
Tommy was operated on his jaw last Monday and all went fine. We know by now that he is allergic and very sensitive to some medication they use during an operation so we could luckily avoid Tommy feeling sick after surgery. Now, one week later he is doing fine and can eat everything again. We see the “jaw” issue as another annoying thing that has been solved. Next operation will be his toe as he often gets an infection which is causing real pain when he is walking.
This week Tommy got a pleasant visit from Johan, Riet, Greet en Eline. This part of the Jacquemyn family lives at the other side of Belgium so it was a real nice surprise to have them in Ghent. Here is a nice souvenir:
Today Tommy enjoyed the company of Simon and Robyn and they enjoyed the presence of their dad …
Another week ahead for all of us … Another week full with challenges ahead for Tommy.

Hey Vicky, Tommy & kids!
We zijn heel blij te horen dat alles de goede kant opgaat. Traag maar zeker, en dat is goed, want haast en spoed is zelden goed…
Wij zijn nog steeds in “blijde verwachting”, maar nu komt het echt wel heel dichtbij. Het kan ieder moment gebeuren! Dat is tegelijkertijd een beetje beangstigend maar toch ook heel spannend! We laten jullie zeker iets weten als onze kleine spruit er is!
